Biography

Andrew (Drew) Clark is founding Partner of Serpentine Venture Advisors, a new concept in helping startups gain traction through partnership with market and industry leading enterprises.

Drew also serves as Board Chair for Sustainable Silicon Valley, a non-profit that is leading the charge in tackling some of the grand challenges in sustainable use of water, carbon, energy, mobility and now air quality.

For over 30 years, Drew was a champion for innovation across IBM and its global ecosystem. Co-founder of IBM's venture capital group and IBM Director of Corporate Strategy, Drew led venture partnership and M&A initiatives for many of IBM’s key business imperatives, including Big Data, Smarter Cities, IoT, and Cloud.

Holder of two AI patents, Drew earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Western Carolina University and completed all course work toward a PhD in Theoretical Plasma Physics from the University of Texas at Austin.
